Kosme and Krones are teaming up their UK divisions and exhibiting information on their filling, PET stretch blow-moulding and packaging machinery at Pakex Ireland next month.

Kosme, an independent arm of the Krones Group, will highlight the latest technical advances in the Flypack shrinkwrapper, which runs at 45 packs a minute and uses separate product compacting, wrapping and heat-shrinking units to unite already packed products such as bottles, cans and glass jars in a secondary pack.

Krones offers systems for manufacturing plastic bottles, pre-treatment, cleaning and inspecting containers before filling, as well as machinery for product handling, labelling and pallet loading.

Kosme and Krones will be exhibiting on stand H6, H7 at Pakex Ireland, which takes place on 21-22 October in the main hall of the Royal Dublin Society centre.

More than 120 exhibitors have signed up to attend the show.
