PFM wins first UK dairy dealstevenkiernan, 16 May 2007Be the first to comment on this article PFM Packaging Machinery has secured its first UK order for its Scirocco pocket bag machine, from a major dairy producer. By using a label closure, rather than, for example, a zip, PFM said the Scirocco pocket bag was easier to produce but maintained the necessary atmospheric conditions to preserve products. The company is confident that the sale to the unnamed customer will be the first of many for a line that has already been popular on the continent. PFM is displaying a number of machines at Total, which coincides with the company’s 20th anniversary in the UK, including the Pearl flowwrap machine and the Vetta vertical form and fill machine.
