In its first outing at Packaging Innovations Bobst will be showing a range of its technologies for brand owners, designers and brand manufacturers.
The recently launched Visionfoil 104H is designed to accurately apply holograms to paper labels and board and is said to improve on the standards of the Bobst SP 76-BM by using cameras to position the hologram on the sheet.
It can handle a wide range of sizes which Bobst said would make it easier for designers to include holograms in packaging design.
As well as packaging, where it can be used as security seals for DVD packs or tobacco, Bobst said there was also potential for it to be used by banknote printers and for tickets for sporting events.
Bobst staff will be available to discuss issues surrounding quality and productivity for packaging production at the show as well as brand protection.
Bobst will be on stand 117 at the easyFairs show that runs on 24-25 February.
