Krones to unveil high-speed palletisernickmansley, 12 March 2008Be the first to comment on this article Packaging equipment specialist, Krones will launch its new high-speed machine, which removes the need for a double-position palletiser, at Interpack 2008.
Krones will also be showing the Robobox grouping system that incorporates a new gripper to guide the pack through the entire turning and distribution process. The machine can accommodate packs of up to 400x400mm that have a maximum weight of 18kg and be matched to any line speed. Krones will also demonstrate the Variopac Pro Packer shrink wrapper packing a 0.5-litre PET container that weighs only 8.8g in 25-micron PET film. The company said the machine would reduce energy consumption by 20%. Krones will be at stand B45/D38 in Hall 16 of the Messe Düsseldorf. Interpack runs from 24 to 30 April.
