Logopak International’s latest print-apply labelling machinery will be making its UK debut at this month’s PPMA Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Logopak 400 series is aimed at mid-speed duties – 50 to 60 cases or shrink-wrapped collations a minute – and is equipped with email facilities to provide remote error warnings or service requirements.

Wilson Clark, Logopak UK general manager, said the new machine reduced the need for supervision of end-of-line labelling operations.

“Should the machines’ controls sense a potential problem, an email can be sent immediately, possibly even before the operator is aware of it,” he said.

The York-based firm will also be displaying its I-Quest software, which allows the operator to extract production management statistics, as part of its Synchro-LXS programmes for real-time monitoring of its equipment.

Logopak will be in Hall 5 on stand F44 at the PPMA Show, which runs from 30 September to 2 October at the NEC in Birmingham.
