Roland DG to showcase mock-up kit at easyFairs

Roland said the VersaUV LEC-330 can print CMYK and white onto a wide variety of substrates and uses gloss and matt spot UV varnish to create a range of effects such as Braille.

It also cuts and creases to provide a cost-effective mechanism for proofing mechanism for packaging prototypes.

Print project manager Mat Drake said: “As it’s UV-curable, it will print on almost anything, making the scope for packaging creativity almost limitless. With this functionality, proofing times, and therefore costs, can be significantly reduced.

The list price for the VersaUV LEC-330 is £36,999 plus VAT.

Roland DG will be on stand 114 at easyFairs Packaging Innovations at the NEC in Birmingham on 24-25 February.
