WINNER

CRP Print & Packaging
Packaging design at its best is a subtle yet complex blend of structure, graphics and useability – and corrugated group CRP’s design output has demonstrated all three in the last year. At least, that was the view of our judges, who declared the Corbybased group the outright winner in this category.

Particular admiration was reserved for the company’s retail-ready and point-of-sale work, with one judge describing a piece produced for chocolate brand Thornton’s as “an outstanding example of how packaging can blend beauty and functionality” – high praise indeed for a humble retail-ready pack. Retail-ready work for beauty brand Wella and PoS for Spogz sweets were also singled out, along with bag-in-box packs for Californian wine brand Echo Falls.

The company’s eight-strong team of designers have more than 100 years’ experience between them and split their time between CRP’s range of heavy-duty, direct food contact, litho and display packaging.
