QuickLabel Systems has expanded its range of label printing machines through the addition of the Vivo! to its product portfolio.

The high-speed direct-digital short-run label printer can print photo-quality labels on roll-fed stock. It has been designed for use by packaging firms, manufacturers, processors and other end-users.

QuickLabel claims that the cost/label of the Vivo! rivals that of flexographic label printers, while its high-speed direct-digital printing reduces turnaround time for labelling.

The machine is designed for use by moderate to high-volume short-run label printing jobs. It can print up to 15,000 labels/batch based on a 102x153mm label-size.

The Vivo! prints glossy, durable labels, using an electro-photographic process similar to laser printing, but using LEDs rather than lasers.
