Harkwell Labels completes largest order

Harkwell Labels yesterday (15 July) completed its largest order to date, supplying a large European fuel company with 27 million labels for a promotion in the Netherlands.

The Dorset-based company printed the labels on its Gallus R160B full colour rotary label press and printed them with sequential numbers using an offline numbering press.

The labels were packed in 13,500 350gsm dispenser boxes in rolls of 2,000 and shipped directly to two separate addresses in the Netherlands.

Harwell Labels managing director Tim Fountain said: "We were daunted at first with the size of the order but our motto, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, kept us focused on the task.

"All the staff were brilliant and worked together as a team," he added.
