Spendrup briefed the Marlow-based agency to create a new look for Loka, Sweden’s leading water brand, and the its flagship beer.
For the water brand, H&M updated the previous design’s logo and its forest graphic with a sunburst that, the agency said, would project the “fresh and invigorating” qualities of the brand.
A graphical wave at the base of each label has also been added enable communication of the flavour.
For Spendrups beer, H&M has created a new icon for the brand that is designed to highlight both the brewery’s heritage and the natural qualities of the grain used.
The design has been created to work across a range of pack formats including cans, multi-packs and bottles as well as other livery for beer pumps, parasols, windbreaks and bar towels.
H&M account director Jason Botterill said: “It was crucially important for Spendrups to invest in design to ensure its home-grown brands continued to compete with international names.”
