Swanline invests in die-cutter to boost large-format printing

The machine, which has been set up alongside Swanline’s Nuri SOL 2517, which the firm installed last August, can be configured to run with a lead-edge feeder or top feed unit and can produce 300mm-plus high batches and 1,400mm or 1,700mm high stacks.

Swanline hopes the die-cutter will strengthen its large-format business. It is capable of running carton grades from 1mm up to 9mm double wall corrugated and can run at speeds over 6,000 feeds per hour.
