RPC makes dosing pack for slug pellet brand

The S-shaped pack is rain resistant and comes with a polypropylene (PP) cap capable of dosing enough pellets to treat one square metre of land.

RPC Market Rasen injection moulded the components of the cap, which includes a red base cap and clear overcap that when combined can be set to ‘off’, ‘on’ or ‘dose’.

CCL Decorative Sleeves manufactured the all-over sleeve for the pack.

“The benefits of the container have now been combined with the innovative dosing cap to ensure that consumers using Slug Bait get the best results for their garden,” said Bayer Garden spokeswoman Laura Varey.

Bayer Garden previously won the best consumer packaging category at the 2009 Garden Industry Manufacturers Association awards for its 350g Slug Bait bottle, also manufactured by RPC.
