Spectra Packaging is using next month’s easyFairs Packaging Innovations show to launch a new product range and printing technique.

The Suffolk-based firms will be showing the first containers in its Verona range – a 250ml bottle and 200ml tottle – to visitors on its stand. The Verona uses the Seaquist Gemini cap and Spectra said it was looking to expand the range of sizes available.

Spectra will also use the show to unveil its new four-colour photographic decoration technique to create and wide range of effects. The firm also offers hot-foil stamping and peripheral banding where foil is run around the edge of the cap.

Spectra was set up two years ago and is in the process of planning a 5,600sqm expansion. Building should start in the middle of the year.

Sales director Jonathan Powell said: “We are growing quickly and investing in new equipment all the time to keep ahead of rising demand for all areas of the market.”

Spectra will be on stand 698 at the easyFairs show that runs on 24-25 February.
