Design to Print has moved into the online ordering market with the launch of a new website featuring budget airline-style pricing.

Printfrom.com allows businesses to send PDFs which are checked by the firm's software before they are quoted prices that decrease with longer lead times.

Prices for 100 copies of a full-colour A3 sheet start at £24.53 for 20-day delivery, rising to £60.79 for overnight delivery.

The four-staff company, which has a high-street shop in Forest Row, East Sussex, as well as a pressroom equipped with an HP Indigo 1000 press, single-colour litho presses and folding/stitching/binding machines, launched the site last week.

Managing director Rob Dewhurst said: "Online print has always been very complicated.

"There's so much business that comes in in the form of a PDF that's ready to print, that I thought it would be good to do something simple."

Dewhurst added that the bespoke software analyses the PDF to check its format and gives a minimum order size of jobs that will fit onto an A3 sheet.
