Tesco hunts for design director

Tesco is on the hunt for a new head of design following the news that Jeremy Lindley (pictured) has joined Diageo as category development director.

Lindley took up the global role at the drinks giant on September 1. He will oversee international packaging design projects and the firm’s roster of design agencies.

Lindley joined Tesco 11 years ago and headed up the design department for the last four years. He was responsible for packaging design across all the supermarket’s own-label brands and oversaw the firm’s roster of 12 design agencies.
