Fasson wet-strength facestock for wine labels
Avery Dennison has introduced a special wet-strength pearlescent label facestock, Fasson MC Perlé, bringing to 40 its range of self-adhesive labels intended for use by Europe’s wine producers.
Fasson MC Perlé has a tactile finish and a subtle silver sheen. The makers suggest it is suitable for high value vintages, FABs and other top-end consumer goods.
Printers can use all forms with conventional and UV inks, as well as hot foil stamping processes. It is also suitable for diecutting.
The new label stock comes with Fasson S2045 permanent rubber-based adhesive in minimum order quantities of 1000 sqm, bringing it within the budget range of even small wineries.
Avery says it has also doubled its range of tamper-evident Fasson Void labelstocks.
Fasson PET films – matt or gloss – are now available with a standard or personalised void messages in a choice of white, black, silver, red, blue, yellow/blue and transparent colours.
Fasson PET Void Check Matt Chrome, which displays a chequerboard image, is UL-approved for use on durable goods and can be printed conventionally and by laser or thermal transfer.
