Fix-a-Form pushes into India with labelling joint venture

Fix-a-Form International, the licensor of multi-page leaflet labels, has set up a joint venture in India.

The Bury St Edmunds firm, a division of Denny Brothers Group, has become an equal partner with Unick FAF & Printers, and has also provided funds for an eight-colour UV flexo press to increase the firm's capacity and range of label formats. The total investment was £500,000.

The family-owned Indian business, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, supplies self-adhesive and leaflet labels to FMCG, pharmaceuticals and other industries. It has a turnover of £500,000.

Fix-a-Form has been working with the firm since it was set up in 1993.

Unick FAF & Printers managing director Tony Vasa said the technical and machinery support from Fix-a-Form International would enable the firm to faster upgrade and deliver multi-page leaflet labels to customers.

Fix-a-Form International managing director Andrew Denny said: "With our investment and expertise, Unick will now be able to step up a gear and achieve significant growth to meet the growing demand for both labels and our multi-page labels."

Denny Brothers devised Fix-a-Form labels in the 1980s and now supplies them through a network of more than 20 label printers worldwide to 50 countries.
