TNA, the supplier of packaging and processing equipment for food production companies, has launched the latest generation of its Robag 3 vertical form, fill and seal system at Interpack 2008.

The latest Robag 3 model includes kanga jaw sealer technology, which enables it to handle speciality bag formats and long bag applications such as cereals and frozen food.

The jaw, powered by a linear motor, adds an up and down motion to its rotating jaws.

Group marketing manager Shayne De la Force said: “We have taken all our customers' feedback from the release of the Robag 3. With the kanga jaw configuration we can now emulate a box motion with all the benefits of a high-speed rotary system.”

The jaw option can be switched on and off as needed.
