Systems Labelling invests in pressurised airflow system
Systems Labelling has installed a bespoke pressurised airflow system at its Deeside plant.
The system pulls air into the production area at a rate calculated to be 10% higher than the total extraction. This ensures that when doors and windows are opened air is pushed out of the building rather than sucked in along with dust that may find its way onto printed labels.
The tailored equipment consists of four large fans with substantial ducting and special filters that extract dust particles as small as three microns.
The system was installed without interrupting Systems Labelling's non-stop operation.
Systems Labelling was formed in 1989. It recorded a turnover of more than £10m last year.
