Warren Board, the cartonboard supplier, is to stock Fiskeby Board's Multiboard Offset brand in the UK.

The Leicester-based independent board merchant is supplying Multiboard Offset in 300gsm to 425gsm weights and a variety of sheet sizes.

It is a 100% recycled multi-purpose, fully coated, grey back, white lined chipboard suitable for all types of printing, varnish and film lamination.

Packaging applications include dry and frozen food, clothing, washing powder, electrical goods and gifts.

Multiboard Offset is manufactured by Fiskeby Board in Sweden, one of Europe's largest producers of cartonboard.

Fiskeby Board sales manager for Western Europe, Pat Bannerman, said the Swedish manufacturer brings 35,000 tonnes of cartonboard into the UK each year.

"This development gives carton makers in the UK a much wider access to Multiboard Offset where a very quick availability is needed," he said.
