Pro2Pac to grow by a third
Food packaging show Pro2Pac is set to grow by almost a third for its second instalment next March, its organisers have predicted.
The show, which first ran in 2007, will take place at Excel in London's Docklands on 15-18 March next year and will cover kit, materials and services for every aspect of the food packaging sector.
A series of seminars is also set to run under the 'Packaging Innovation @ Pro2Pac' banner, with speakers from brand owners, retailers and other industry experts.
Organiser Reed Exhibitions has said that it is expected the event, which attracted almost 13,000 visitors in 2007, to expand in size by more than 30%.
Exhibitors at the last edition of the event included converters, processors and machinery manufacturers while the key target visitors are packaging buyers and specifiers among brand owners and retailers.
Marketing manager Deborah Conneely said that space at the exhibition, which runs alongside food industry show IFE09, was already more than 50% sold.
"This puts us in an excellent position to deliver real solutions to our customers' business challenges," she said.
