Procurasell falls into administration

Procurasell International, the compostable and recyclable packaging specialist, has gone into administration.

The Wrexham-based company called in administrators on 23 December and has since ceased trading.

Mark Colman from administrator Leonard Curtis told Packaging News that it is currently working with the company and is due to make a site visit this week.

Procurasell chief executive Johan Bergman told Packaging News that it was too early and inappropriate to comment further.

Bergman, who spent more than a decade at Tetra Pak, was appointed in October.

The company's Vegasse packaging product range is made from sugar cane waste. It supplies the airline catering, foodservice and retail sectors.

The company was incorporated in February 2006.
