Rockwell gains compostable certification for Biopeel line
Dundee-based Rockwell Solutions has achieved compostable certification for its Biopeel PLA lidding and flow wrap films.
PIRA has given Biopeel PLA approval for food contact, chilling, freezing, microwaving and opening under the EC Directive 97/48/EC and 2002/72/EC.
Biopeel PLA can be used for sealing to and peeling from containers of all types made from PLA, rPET, aPET, PP and foil.
The film is also available with anti-fog, print and breathability for any application and is suitable for fruit, vegetables, salads and sandwich applications.
