BAMA addresses transport issues with logistics fact sheet

The British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association (BAMA) has launched a fact sheet for end user companies involved in the transportation of aerosols.

The information sheet explains the requirements outlined in the Health & Safety Act, detailing the markings, documentation and training needed to transport aerosols by road, sea and rail.

BAMA hopes that by supplying the information in a simple format, the fact sheet may help prevent logistics problems and delays at ports when misunderstandings can occur.

Michell Grady, BAMA marketing and communication manager, said: "Our members have access to a wealth of information on this topic. However, we wanted to make sure that we were able to support other sections of the distribution chain who may not be able to access this kind of information very easily."

The fact sheet can be downloaded here.
