Mondi gains FSC accreditation for Mold site
Mondi Packaging has achieved a Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation at its Mold site.
FSC-certified forests are managed to ensure long-term timber supplies, while protecting the environment and the lives of forest-dependent people.
Matt Robinson, market development manager, said: "We are delighted to have achieved FSC accreditation. Our customers can be assured that our products have been sourced from responsibly managed forests.
"The FSC accreditation demonstrates our dedication to this cause and we are now working towards gaining accreditation for our three other manufacturing sites around the country," he added.
Mondi, an independent paper and packaging group, has operations in 35 countries and employs around 35,000 people.
