Pro2Pac 2009 opens with full house of exhibitors
Pro2Pac 2009, the show dedicated to processing and packaging in the food and drink industry, has opened its doors this week with sold-out floor space.
The show, which runs alongside food and drink event IFE, will host a series of seminars focused on "eco-attitudes".
Visitors will be able to learn more about issues including corporate social responsibility, carbon footprinting and reducing food waste through packaging.
Speakers at the event will include Steve Pizer, technical manager at Tesco and Dr Tracy Bhamra, Reader in Sustainable Design at Loughborough University, among others.
Industry figures present will include Packaging Federation chief executive Dick Searle and senior packaging technologist at Wrap Haulwen Nicholas.
Pro2Pac runs alongside IFE from 15-18 March at ExCeL in London.
