IDi Pac flags up late stage customisations skills at easyFairs
IDi Pac demonstrated its late stage customisation skills to visitors to easyFairs at Birmingham's NEC this week.
The Hampshire-based company reckons that its capabilities in late stage customisation technology are enabling it to meet customers' needs for de-stocking, flexible supply, small order and rapid response more cost-effectively.
The firm said it had refined those skills following a project it undertook with a "major international pharmaceutical company" in which it developed and commissioned a new packaging line and installed a digital system that incorporates the extensive use of digital print and artwork management technology.
IDi Pac was tasked with improving the pharmaceutical company's supply chain and looked at areas including reducing product cost, improving security, reducing component complexity and boosting plant throughputs.
IDi Pac also devised a packaging system to help the drugs company achieve its goals.
