ArtiosCAD 7.3 is said to enhance the software's background image feature to give users a "very realistic" view of 3D mock-ups of products on-shelf.
The rubber design module can store parameters for different customer needs and different die types. It also has an automatic layout feature to make efficient use of the rubber sheet, and can be combined with a Kongsberg cutting table.
Richard Deroo, EskoArtwork's product manager for structural design, said the new software was also easier to navigate but remained accessible to a number of operating systems.
ArtiosCAD 7.3, which is aimed at corrugated, folding carton and point-of-purchase display products, will also be included in the latest version of design package Esko Software Suite.
