Innovia Films supplies GoodOnYa

Innovia Films has secured a contract to supply its biodegradable and compostable NatureFlex material to US-based GoodOnYa for its new range of organic nutrition bars

The packaging is made from metallised NatureFlex NM which is laminated to a high gloss transparent NatureFlex NVS film.

GoodOnYa founder Kris Fillat said: “We are the first company in the world to use this for a bar wrapper. It is cutting edge eco-packaging, which is shiny and looks great. This is the change our earth desperately needs.”

NatureFlex films are cellulose based, derived from renewable wood pulp and are certified to meet both the European EN13432 and American ASTM D6400 standards for compostable packaging.

The wood-pulp is sourced from managed plantations from suppliers operating good forestry principals.

Innovia Films has production sites in Cumbria in the UK, Belgium, Australia and the US.
