RPC produces custom car-care pack for Tetrosyl

Tetrosyl decided to commission a new container because the standard five-litre bottles produced by RPC in Raunds, Northamptonshire, are used by other manufacturers.

Tetrosyl marketing manager Simon Howorth said: “As our premium brand, we wanted to refresh Carlube’s image by giving the bottle a modern makeover while still being recognisable to retailers and consumers.”

RPC produced the container after receiving initial design concepts from Tetrosyl. 

The new pack, which is blow-moulded in HDPE and comes in black and silver versions, has the same footprint, height and cap placement as the standard bottle.

But the labelling area has been made smaller, meaning the motif that appeared on the old label has been recreated on-pack for a tactile effect.

Tetrosyl supplies car care products under its own brands and as private-label ranges for supermarkets and automotive outlets.
