RPC secures Scrubs packaging contract

RPC Barplas in Bradford produces the 1.8 litre injection-moulded polypropylene container and handle, while the lid and fitment are manufactured at RPC Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.

RPC obtained the business for the product when a previous supplier went into receivership. The new supplier enabled Magnaflux to modify the container.

Mark Hayes, Scrubs production supervisor, said: “With RPC’s help, we have switched the method of printing from silk screen to a faster dry offset technique and improved stackability.”

Scrubs towels are textured to loosen, dissolve and absorb dirt and grease.
