Sainsbury’s has revamped its fruit juice cartons, incorporating see-through windows on the side allowing consumers to measure how much they’re drinking

The 200ml measurements are designed to assist shoppers to know that they are drinking one portion of their ‘five-a-day’. The new packaging is included on its full range of juices in 1 litre cartons.

“We launched this new packaging to make it easier for customers to measure one of their five-a-day and lead a healthier lifestyle,” said Sainsbury’s juice buyer Louise Wilkinson.

Juices in the range include Ruby breakfast, Orange, Apple, Tomato, Multivitamin and Costa Rican Pineapple.

The new look packaging is part of the supermarket giant’s revamp of its own brand products. The launch began with its frozen foods just before Christmas last year.
