The four join an already strong panel that features seniors packaging buyers and specifiers from firms including Unilever, Morrisons, Boots and M&S.
The latest judges to confirm their participation in this year’s event are:
- Peter Singleton, principle engineer, package development, global B&R, Procter & Gamble
- Stuart Lendrum, head of packaging, Sainsbury’s
- Asit Modha, head of beverage packaging R&D, PepsiCo Europe
- Shane Monkman, head of packaging, Asda.
They join a growing panel of top-level judges including:
- Louis Lindenberg, global design and sustainability director, Unilever
- Steve Jackson, technical manager for packaging, Morrisons
- Pam Green, head of beauty brands packaging development, Alliance Boots
- Barry Pamplin, packaging and technology director, Findus
- Karen Douglas, packaging manager, fresh foods, Marks & Spencer Food
- Dick Searle, chief executive, Packaging Federation
- Nicholas Mockett, corporate finance, Moorgate Capital
This year’s UK Packaging Awards are set to be the biggest yet after a sell-out at last year’s awards ceremony. The event has moved to a larger venue, at the London Hilton on Park Lane, and will take place on 16 November.
The UK Packaging Awards 2011 are sponsored by easyFairs, PPMA 2011, Mercury Search & Selection, the Metal Packaging Manufacturers’ Association and DS Smith Packaging.
More judges will be announced in the coming weeks.
