Packs and Closures

The packaging industry has been recognised in the Queen's Awards for Enterprise, which celebrate business success.

Among this year's winners for international trade were Flint-based convenience food packaging firm Excelsior Technologies and Llanllyr Water Company, which this year launched mineral water in a can.

Also recognised were Canyon Europe, which manufactures plastic trigger sprays for consumer and industrial fluid dispensing systems, and polyester film producer Dupont Teijin Films UK.


Aquaspersions, a manufacturer of water-based additives for the polymer latex, paints and adhesive industries, was another winner.


The Queen's Awards for Enterprise scheme, which has been running for 43 years, recognised 139 businesses this year.
