Pakready founder creates new prototyping service

The co-founder of Pakready systems has launched a new rapid turnaround packaging prototyping company based in Cheshire

Brian Blundell said that while the aim with Pakready was to primarily develop systems, his new Colbcreative venture would offer a truly exceptional service over a broad range of packaging mock-ups using the latest technology for a wide variety of media.

Colbcreative, which is located in Ellesmere Port, offers prototyping and very short-run production for most packaging types, including cartons, countertop corrugated, flexible bags, shrinkwrap cans, and bottles.

“I firmly believe that packaging sells products and that better packaging will sell more,” Blundell told Packaging News‘ sister title PrintWeek.

“Therefore, brands should expect to see a variety of options. Our mock-ups are used to enable decision-making through to photoshoots and TV advertising.”

According to Blundell, the recently launched business has already produced work on behalf of Coca-Cola, P&G and Mars Food.
