Easypack and Pop Displays invest in new facilities
Easypack and sister firm Pop Displays are to relocate to new facilities in Mildenhall, Suffolk, following the acquisition of litho printing firm Rapide in April.
A new 1,000sqm warehouse is under construction at Mildenhall, in addition to a creative suite to house Rapide's pre-press equipment.
The two firms were previously run separately in shared facilities at Mildenhall.
Easypack makes corrugated cases, while Pop Displays creates point-of-sale packaging and pre-filled display units for firms including Tesco, Asda, United Biscuits and Burton's.
Rapide will join the other firms during July.
Group chief executive Chris Hall said he was looking to develop the cartonboard packaging side of the business with Rapide.
"There will be a period of consolidation and then I want to push forward," he said.
Together, Easypack, Pop Displays and Rapide have about 50 employees.
The combined turnover of the group is £6.5m.
