Oriel fits new UV Heidelberg kitstevenkiernan, 4 April 2007Be the first to comment on this article Oriel Printing, the Hull-based trade printer for the packaging sector, has installed the two Heidelberg CD102 UV presses chairman John Simms (pictured) ordered at the Ipex show last April. The firm has invested £3.5m in equipment, and £1.5m in premises and a new website and corporate image. Clients will be able to upload artwork on an FTP link from the company website. Managing director Richard Simms said: “The new presses allow the business to expand its niche market of trade printing onto specialist substrates like plastics, while also extending our capacity to print board for packaging companies. “The new presses make it even easier for us to print clear plastics and fluted board, which is a large growth area.” Speak Your Mind |
