Furthermore, no booklets are sold with the CDs, but will be available from the Univeral Music website. Asda research has shown that up to 25% of plastic CD covers are thrown away within 12 months of purchase. In the US, environmentally friendly CD packaging has sold over 2m units in the first six months it has appeared in Wal-Mart stores. There are 42 titles in the Ecopac range, which cost £5, including The Very Best of Michael Jackson, Barry White's Greatest Hits and Overloaded by the Sugababes. Speak Your Mind |
