Abbey Labels is demonstrating its range of ‘peel and reveal’ labels at easyFairs Packaging Innovations, which takes place today and tomorrow at Birmingham’s NEC.

The firm will also be showcasing other products at the trade event, including its scratch-off labels, eye-catching promotional labels, household goods labels that have been over-laminated for added protection and labels manufactured from FSC- and PEFC-accredited recycled paper.

Abbey’s ‘peel and reveal’ label comprises two printed layers. When the top layer is peeled off, it reveals the layer underneath, which can be printed with further product information. The label can also be printed on the reverse of the top layer.

Abbey said that the concept has proven especially popular with the food and drinks industries, but added that the labels’ use is spreading to other markets, including cosmetics and chemical.

The Suffolk-based firm will be exhibiting at stand number 146 at the easyFairs event, which runs today and tomorrow at the NEC.
