Bart Spices is using a Fix-a-Form booklet label from Denny Bros on its jars to help communicate recipes and environmental information to customers.

Nine different products are using the 27mm-diameter, 12-page leaflet label to carry information about organic farming and wildlife as well as a suggested recipe idea.

A Bart spokesperson said the leaflet label fitted in with the “packaging-free style” of its compact spice jars.

“Fix-a-Form is an outstanding informational and promotional tool. It has given us the space to give customers more information and recipe help that we hope will encourage brand loyalty and a better understanding of environmental issues,” the spokesperson said.

The labels are machine applied and the products are now available at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Bart Spices was founded in Bristol in the 1960s.
