Cresta Labels strengthens capability with Dantex PicoColour investment

Cresta Labels has strengthened its print capability to include flexo, hotfoil and thermal transfer with the Dantex PicoColour press.

The Dantex PicoColour UV inkjet digital press’s label printing system offers quality printed results and is suitable for short and long run jobs.

Dantex said the press features benefits including no minimum quantity, inline finishing, no waste and a fast turnaround, the press is built to last and simple to operate and maintain.

Peter Lloyd, Cresta Labels managing director, said he spent 18 months researching for its next investment in digital technology.

“The PicoColour press offers a more robust solution to our current setup and has the ability to print and convert labels in one pass, thereby saving time in dealing with re-registration issues and material. The Corona treatment unit was also a must for printing on a variety of substrates, and with the flexibility of the PicoColour to add variable data and white, all future possible requirements are covered.”
