Egeria completes acquisition of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging

Dutch private equity group Egeria has completed the acquisition of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Group.

The deal, for an undisclosed fee, was announced in September.

With headquarters in Amsterdam and turnover of around €350m, Clondalkin Flexibles comprises 11 manufacturing sites and is one of the leading players in the European Flexible Packaging market operating in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, UK, and also in the USA.

Moorgate Capital was involved in the deal, and Nicholas Mockett, head of packaging M&A at the financial adviser, said: “Clondalkin Flexibles has an impressive range of differentiated flexible packaging products including stand-up pouches, shrink sleeves, barrier films, skin films, and bio-degradable films.”
